The ClearSight Network Recorder is a new-generation data capture and analysis system featuring a very large 2TB disk system that can capture and store full line-rate data from Gigabit lines and then analyze the data using the ClearSight Analyzer software.

 

The system can passively capture data in real-timefrom a Gigabit network via a TAP and store the captured data on its 2TB hard disk. The data for analysis can be extracted by drilling down from the history graph and then analyzed in the ClearSight Analyzer module that is included with the Network Recorder.

The ClearSight Packet Generator is a software program for transmitting traffic via 10/100M Ethernet from a Windows PC. The software supports single packet mode for repeatedly sending the same packet and buffer mode for regenerating traffic captured from the actual network.

ClearSight Distributed is a distributed system with a next generation application flow analyzer.  Using the central Agent Manager, it allows for remote network monitoring, application performance analysis, and troubleshooting for multiple LAN segments that are physically separated from one another.

Drill down application flow analysis using ClearSight Analyzer’s intuitive GUI, application content playback, and real-time alarm function greatly reduces the time involved in remote network fault detection and troubleshooting.
